Meet the Founder
Lucia Miller:
Lucia is an exceptional education teacher certified in Cross Categorical Disabilities and Severe and Multiple Disabilities. She received her Master's Degree in Severe and Multiple Disabilities specializing in Autism and her Bachelor's Degree in Cross Cat. Special Education from the University of Arizona (U of A). Lucia has completed her thesis on the effects of physical activity with students with multiple and severe disabilities. She started her career running self-contained classrooms for students with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders and for students with Autism. Lucia has acted as the head of the self-contained exceptional education department. She also created the behavioral system that the Renaissance Academy Tucson uses and continues to work on the system's efficacy. Lucia enjoys working with all of her students and helps them find their unique skills and a place in their world.
